全美23四年制大學(xué)將不要求遞交標(biāo)化

一項(xiàng)新的統(tǒng)計(jì)發(fā)現(xiàn)，全美超過(guò)1,600所四年制學(xué)院和大學(xué)將不要求學(xué)生提交ACT或SAT成績(jī)，以便考慮在2022年秋季入學(xué)，這占美國(guó)2,330所學(xué)士學(xué)位院校的三分之二以上。

其中，近期全美已經(jīng)達(dá)到80多個(gè)大學(xué)宣布2022年秋季申請(qǐng)或者以后對(duì)于入學(xué)考試盲試、免試或免分?jǐn)?shù)招生政策也就是這些大學(xué)將不會(huì)考慮ACT/SAT成績(jī)，即使提交了。

FairTest執(zhí)行董事Bob Schaeffer 解釋說(shuō)：“來(lái)年的高中生應(yīng)該充分利用各種招生選擇?！? “幾乎所有美國(guó)最具競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力的文理學(xué)院都不需要申請(qǐng)2022年秋季入學(xué)的 ACT/SAT 成績(jī)。大多數(shù)公立大學(xué)校園也將實(shí)施類(lèi)似的政策?！?/p>

“一項(xiàng)又一項(xiàng)研究――加州大學(xué)最近的一項(xiàng)研究――表明，取消入學(xué)考試要求可以在不降低學(xué)術(shù)質(zhì)量的情況下提高本科生的多樣性，”謝弗總結(jié)道?！癋airTest 預(yù)計(jì)可選考試機(jī)構(gòu)的數(shù)量將繼續(xù)增長(zhǎng)，因?yàn)樵撜邔?duì)學(xué)生和學(xué)校來(lái)說(shuō)都是‘雙贏’?！?/p>

根據(jù)FairTest的說(shuō)法，強(qiáng)烈的可選考試趨勢(shì)的可能排除掉南部深處的公立大學(xué)系統(tǒng)，例如喬治亞州和佛羅里達(dá)州、美國(guó)服務(wù)學(xué)院和一些小型宗教學(xué)院。
